Cerazette (Desogestrel) is a contraceptives pill used for preventing pregnancy. It consists of organic compound known as Desogestrel. Cerazette Pill stops the release of egg from the female reproductive organ and the neck of the uterine lining by compelling it to become harder for the sperm to reach the uterus and make it stiffer for the egg to stick to the uterus. It can be used for treating mild acne in the patient whose menstrual periods have just started and for the patients who want of apply this medicine in order to control the pregnancy. Carazette is a synthetic progestogen performs similarly like to that of natural progestin produced by the body. It works by regulating the mucus at the womb and further help makes hard so as to block the sperm in reaching the womb form the vagina. This medication helps in maintain the endometrium by preventing the ovaries form getting attached into the wall of the womb.
How should I take this medication?
Take drug Cerazette 0.075mg as per the dosage and frequency suggested by the doctor. As this medicine is used to treat multiple disorders, do not use it without consulting your doctor first. This medication should be taken once in 12 hours during the beginning of the first day of periods. Consult your doctor if you experience any uncommon or side effects. Your doctor might also need to change the dosage. The patient should consult the doctor if you are going for surgeries so that the doctor could tell you whether or not you should continue the dosage. Patient must see and track the direction given in the label of the medication.
What are the possible side effects of using this drug?
The patient may feel nausea disorder, Change of behavior, Lack of interest in sex, Softness of breast and Head-pain. This medication may also cause side effects such as, Increase of weight, Feeling vomiting, excessive tired or weary feeling, ovaries cysts and virginal inflammation. Besides this Cerazette medication may also allergic reaction such as problem while breathing, formation of sore or patches in the throat, swollen face or lips, swelling of face and lips and severe hives problem due to the reaction of Cerazette
What precautions do I need to follow while using Cerazette?
This medication is a birth controlling pill so if you want to get pregnant do not use this medication or it will cause birth defect to the unborn child. This medication passes into the milk of the breast and might injure the breast feeding child so consult your doctor if you are nursing the child. . Do not use this medicine if you are suffering from kidney, liver or gland disorder without consulting the medical specialist. Do not combine this medication with alcohol as it may severely decrease the effect of this medication.
